Quiet Reflections

“God gave us mouths that close and ears that don’t. That must tell us something”

Took a break from studying to go listen to the King’s College London Choir in the Chapel. That’s right-my school has its own chapel. With an organ.

They sang beautifully, of course. My expectations were high, and they blew it out of the park! It was so wonderful to just sit in that beautiful room listening to music that gave me goosebumps. I have been stressing about my upcoming essays and theirΒ impending due dates that are hanging over my head, and this was a nice reminder that I need to take a step back and appreciate where I am and reflect on all I have done/seen over the past three months. No, this week is not going to be fun. At all. But it is the price I have to pay to be here, in my favorite city in all the world.

All of the tears, headaches, lack of sleep, energy drinks, and potential loss of my sanity will be worth it. And has already been worth it.
